The questions people actually ask.
Do I need an API key to use Cloud Video?
No — that's the whole point. Sign in, and Cloud Video generates on our GPUs using your credits. There are no OpenRouter, Google, or other keys to set up, anywhere in the app.
What is a credit worth?
1 credit = $0.01. Economy costs 2 credits per second of video (~$0.02/s), Premium costs 9 credits per second (~$0.09/s). So a 10-second Economy clip is 20 credits ($0.20) and a 10-second Premium clip is 90 credits ($0.90).
Do credits expire?
Purchased top-up credits never expire — they stay in your account until you use them. Plan (allowance) credits refresh each month.
What's the difference between Economy and Premium?
Both generate real AI video clips on our managed LTX models. Economy is the fast, low-cost tier for b-roll and everyday scenes; Premium is higher-detail with steadier motion for hero shots and faces. Mix them per scene within one video.
What happens to my prompts and data?
To generate a clip, that scene's prompt and first-frame image are sent to our gateway — that's inherent to cloud generation, as with any AI tool. Everything else stays on your machine: your project, your source files, and the final render, which always encodes locally.
Can I use Cloud Video on just some scenes?
Yes — it's per scene. Generate cloud clips for the scenes that need motion, and use still images on the rest. Everything feeds the same free local render.
Which version do I need?
Cloud Video needs the desktop app at v1.0.91+. Install the latest .exe/.dmg and it's ready. Local rendering works on every version.
